Terms & Conditions

In using the services of Fevers Exterior Restoration, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

Access and Utilities:

  • The customer agrees to allow Fevers Exterior Restoration access to their property for the purposes of completing the agreed cleaning/restoring services.

  • The customer agrees to provide access to a functioning outdoor tap, which must be turned on and easily accessible on the agreed date of works.

  • On occasion, Fevers Exterior Restoration may need to use a kitchen tap if no outdoor tap is available, provided a secure connection can be made. However, Fevers Exterior Restoration accepts no responsibility for water leakage or damage when using the customer’s indoor fixtures or when hoses must run through the customer’s property.

 

Liability and Risk:

  • Pressure washing involves high-pressure machinery and chemicals to clean tough stains on exterior surfaces. While Fevers Exterior Restoration takes the utmost precautions to avoid damage, high-pressure cleaning can potentially harm surfaces, especially if they are poorly maintained, made of low-grade materials, or neglected.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their property has been maintained according to manufacturer recommendations and that any defects or areas of concern are repaired prior to our work commencing.

  • Fevers Exterior Restoration documents pre-existing damage during a survey and before work begins through photos/videos. However, not all damage may be visible during an initial assessment. If new damage is uncovered during cleaning, Fevers Exterior Restoration will halt work until the customer is notified and acknowledges the damage.

  • The customer assumes all risk and accepts responsibility for any damage that occurs as a result of improper maintenance or defects in the property.

 

Gutter Clearing and Cleaning:

  • “Gutter clearing” refers solely to the removal of debris and blockages from gutters, such as leaves, moss, and plants. It does not include cleaning the exterior of the gutters unless otherwise specified.

  • Fevers Exterior Restoration conducts all gutter clearing from the ground using telescopic equipment. We charge a £15 fee to survey the gutters, which includes video/camera footage shared with the customer.

  • The structural maintenance of the gutters is the customer’s responsibility. Fevers Exterior Restoration cannot be held liable for damage caused by pre-existing issues, neglect, or poor installation.

  • A suitable power supply must be available for all gutter clearance work.

 

Preparation and Cleaning Process:

  • The customer must ensure all doors, windows, and outside electrical outlets/fixtures are watertight prior to pressure washing.

  • Customers must turn off outside electrical outlets at the fuse box before work begins.

  • Customers are responsible for clearing garden furniture, pots, ornaments, BBQs, cars, and other obstructions unless an alternative arrangement is made with us prior to arrival. Immovable objects will be cleaned around. Fevers Exterior Restoration can assist with moving heavy items if required.

  • The customer must ensure drains and gullies are clear to prevent water pooling. We charge an additional £15 for clearing heavily blocked gullies.

 

Due to the nature of high-pressure cleaning:

  • Not all heavy lichen, black spots, or algae will be removed on the first treatment. Chemical treatments may improve results, but full removal is not guaranteed.

  • Rust and oil stains are challenging to remove completely and may require specialised chemicals. We cannot guarantee full removal.

  • Pressure washing and treatments are quoted per square metre. The price remains fixed regardless of the time required to complete the job.

 

Health and Safety:

  • Children and pets must be kept away from the cleaning area for safety reasons. Pets should ideally be kept indoors.

  • Pressure washing creates water and debris. While we aim to minimise mess, surrounding areas may be affected temporarily. We will clean these to a satisfactory standard before completion.

  • Customers must inform their neighbours about the work if it could affect nearby properties (e.g., moving vehicles close to the cleaning site).

 

Scheduling and Payments:

  • A 10% deposit is required upon accepting a quotation. This deposit is non-refundable for cancellations.

  • Customers must give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment.

  • The balance is due on the date of completion. Payments can be made via cash, card, or bank transfer. All prices are final and not subject to VAT.

Marketing and Documentation:

  • Fevers Exterior Restoration may use before-and-after photos, videos, and descriptions of the work for marketing purposes, ensuring no sensitive details such as addresses or names are included. If you would prefer for us not to use these, please let us know.

 

Additional Considerations:

  • Weeds: While our cleaning process removes existing weeds, they may regrow over time due to environmental factors. Regular maintenance is recommended.

  • Expectations vs Reality: Although we use industry-leading treatments and techniques, results may vary depending on the condition of surfaces and stains.

  • Results Depreciation: After cleaning, surfaces will naturally deteriorate over time due to weather, traffic, and other environmental factors.

  • Delays: In cases of unforeseen circumstances, such as inclement weather, we reserve the right to reschedule work to a mutually agreed date.

 

Disputes and Insurance:

  • Fevers Exterior Restoration is covered by public liability insurance. Details are available upon request.

  • Any disputes must be raised within 48 hours of work completion. Fevers Exterior Restoration will attempt to resolve all concerns amicably. If no resolution can be reached, mediation will be pursued before legal action.

 

Customer Agreement:

By accepting a quotation, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions and authorises Fevers Exterior Restoration to carry out the agreed work. The customer releases Fevers Exterior Restoration from liability for damage except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
